Senior Brand Manager
Position: Senior Brand Manager, One Degree Organics Reports to: VP Marketing
We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of brand strategy and marketing initiatives for One Degree Organics driving sustainable growth, strengthening brand equity, and delivering commercial results.

Experience
You have 8+ years of experience in a marketing or communication role in Consumer Goods Products and/or Food Manufacturing environments
You have a Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline field
You have people leadership experience, including coaching and development
You have led or contributed to new product development (NPD) from concept through launch
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Insights
Support brand strategy for One Degree Organics to drive the business to higher levels
Act as a brand leader across the organization, driving cross-functional alignment with Sales, R&D, Compliance, Operations, and Finance
Accountable for meeting brand dashboard and goals on a monthly basis
Analyze market, internal and digital metrics, as well as consumer trends to inform brand strategies and improve brand execution
Leverage consumer and syndicated data (POS, panel, digital analytics) to generate insights that sharpen brand strategy and in-market execution
Champion One Degree’s sustainability and transparency positioning (glyphosate-free, sprouted grains, farm traceability) as a core lever of brand differentiation
Brand Communications & Digital
Own Brand Communications producing engaging, compelling, and consistent brand communication material and drive social/digital media efforts, including all earned media
Own agency relationships and the selection of any new agency partners
Own the QR code and source-code traceability program on packaging, managing the relationship with Operations and all back-end code assignments, in partnership with the Assistant Brand Manager
Support e-commerce and digital shelf strategy, including retail media, marketplace content, and DTC presence
Manage the brand website and associated links required to ensure effective tracking of website traffic
Own the One Degree consumer journey — from complaint resolution to surprise-and-delight moments — through the Customer Experience Specialist
Ultimately accountable for consumer inquiries and complaints, with the team responsible for day-to-day responses via social media, email, and phone
Packaging, Innovation & Go-to-Market
Guide in all packaging design and execution in all markets
Lead marketing go-to-market communication for all new innovations
Lead the execution of marketing tactics to drive trial, shelf velocity, and improve brand equity
Monitor certification and regulatory updates provided by Compliance and ensure that brand-related elements (packaging, website, sell sheets) are updated accordingly
Budget & Commercial Management
Support the brand marketing budget, ensuring disciplined and effective investment, and lead trade show strategy and execution
Partner with Finance and Sales on pricing and promotional strategy to balance volume, margin, and brand equity
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Travel and Work Expectations
This role will follow the company’s broader working expectations, including required in-office presence, and may on occasion require work outside standard hours, including weekends, as the job requires.
Travel will also be required periodically for:
Trade shows across North America
Customer and retail partner meetings
Packaging and agency reviews
Cross-functional collaboration tied to brand and innovation launch activities
Travel is expected to represent approximately 5–10% of time, primarily across North America.
Salary - $94,000 - $118,000
