POSITION: Sanitation Associate                                                REPORTS TO: Production Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facility and it's industrial equipment are kept clean.

Opportunity
This role is physically demanding as you will be working in an environment that involves repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Also, you must be able to work in hot, cold, dusty, wet, dirty, and varying pressure conditions due to the nature of this position! However, this gives you the opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment where your work has a direct and positive impact on how we function!

Things You Will Do…
  • Tasks may include but not limited to cleaning industrial machinery, maintaining cleanliness of sanitation equipment, cleaning duct work and vacuuming tops of equipment (using scissor lift), sweeping, and general cleaning tasks
  • Complete all sanitation tasks required in a safe and efficient manner, including deep cleaning of all areas
  • Follow all given instructions including work and safety procedures or standards
  • Communicate with the Supervisor or appropriate stakeholders about issues, tasks
  • Ensure all necessary tasks are completed at the end of each shift
  • Write incident reports documenting flooding and other incidents
  • Working with heights, chemicals, and steam
